"Jan Czaban" <dk715 at freenet.carleton.ca> sez: > The M111/251 and B3000/HL722 both fit into my olds stationwagon. > A B3 doesn't come anywhere near fitting into the wagon. That is a really cool way of looking at it. What instruments work with what (vehicle) you have. I knew 5-6 years ago that my new vehicle would have to fit my gear so I made the test drive to my house. Told the salesman if the B3 fits in, I'll buy it. That's why for 5-6 years I have mentioned how easy it is. Now I'm in the market for a new car and there's a lot to think about. The arguements of clones and small portable Hammonds are resurfacing to me. I'd love to get back to the topic of vehicles in another post soon... You really are bound by what kind of vehicle you have - or how willing you are to get a suitable vehicle. If playing the B3000 is fun for you than keep it up! > B3000/HL722 combo was a poor ebay mistake a couple of years ago but i think > well worth the $500 USD i paid for them. However it has its benefits. >I don't get upset when I drop it off a stage. I would be upset if I saw you do that. > Its fun to see folks reactions > when I tumble the 3000 over itself across gravelly parking lots and pry it > into my stationwagon Sounds pretty strange. > (all by myself! how many B3s can get moved that way). I'll move any of them that way. Lots of people do it. Granted gravel isn't the best place to roll anything...... > (The last time I gigged the M111 our bassplayer tore off one of its legs!) You guys are not doing something right. > Yeah, although I am trashing the B3000, I'll say. Have fun, Dave McCracken http://dave.folkswaggin.com ---
