Thinks I, have you tried backing-off the pickup rod in case it's buried into the tonewheel? It happens sometimes when organs get moved (or even dropped) with the generator banging around. If so, and it's really a shot gear, you do have an option if you're willing to get your wallet out. Trek-II makes a tonewheel replacement which works by taking the tone from another wheel and dividing it down to the tone you need. It may seem a bit pricey, but not compared to any alternative. There is a master unit which can drive up to two or three slave units, which are cheaper. If only one tone is out, you need the master unit. They work and sound great; I have installed them before, and it's not difficult. best to buy them from a dealer or tech-- you will pay less than direct from Trek-II, and help to support your local techs. -Scott
