Absolutely correct, Scott.  I should have pointed that out.  I
have noticed that Hammond/Leslie prices in the Pacific Northwest
are very reasonable, compared to the East Coast for example.
Prices in California appear "cheap" to me.

Correct again. It is my opinion and I should have made that clear.
My opinion is based on personal experiences, with non-scientific A-
B listening comparisons, and the feedback of other Hammond mavens
off and on our list.  Read Mike Fulk's comments from a similar
thread last summer, as I recall.

All Hammonds sound different, even within their own model
families, so it is difficult to categorically state that one
is "better" than the other.....unless you're comparing any
tonewheel console with an L-series perhaps.
