In any case, do the usual. Resolder anything that you had to disconnect,
and be aware that sometimes when you unsolder things from the exterior
terminals of the preamp, the inside connection may just get enough heat
to decide to not work anymore. I chased a perc problem for a while that
ended up being a popped solder joint inside when I was pulling wires off
the term strips. And yes, I'm a good solder kinda guy. But stuff happens
w/ old equip.
