[HAM] SHOCKer n Buzz: near mint leslie 122 question (and safety)

hi,
I'm no tech, but our 122 acted similar to the way you described.

My tech took out the amp and found some defective/worn out capacitors or resistor(i'm no tech, remember)
works great now after he replaced these. Pretty simple if you know what to look for and how to test.
