[HAM] How do I get overdrive on an L-100 spinet?

I also have a Leslie Model 16 which was made primarily with guitarists  in  
mind so that might be an option too, but that also has no built in  pre-amps...

Goto  the hammond section and ask.There's a website from like germany or 
something  totally dedicated to modifiying the L .i'll see if i can find it.
Also goto and join the deep purple forum and ask the people there.
Your never gonna get it perfect though because the L has like Tube vibrato 
and  Lords vibrato was different scanner vibrato i think.
