[HAM] xk-3 midi control

appreciate comments from anybody who has experience using a second
non-hammond midi keyboard patched into the xk3?
given all the rave reviews in this forum, I'm considering buying an xk3 but
would like to know whether or how well a DX7 via midi could function as the
second manual
e.g. could it operate as both a DX7 and as a patch into the xk-3 drawbars?
be magic if it could, am getting too old to haul the B ....

also any comments about the XK3 driving a tube vs solid state leslie. I have
a 251 and an HL-722
