I see do you mean it should only be used with a B3 ?

I had it running good though until that cap went.Runs perfect with the
treble reverb on so it seems like the line is balanced enough i'm pretty
sure.

You HAVE to feed the PR-40 a balanced signal.

It's an L-112 ,a Leslie 145 and Pr-40. At the 5 pin female in the back of
the l-112 PIN 1 IS SIGNAL POSITIVE AND PIN 5 IS SIGNAL NEUTRAL. THEN IF I
REMEMBER RIGHT 2 AND 4 PIN SLOT ARE 120 VOLT AND PIN 3 IS GROUND.

WHEN I PUT THE REVERB ON THE PR-40,,THE REVERB WORKS AND IT IS VERY QUIET
AND WORKS PERECTLY.IT'S WHEN THE PR-40 TREBLE REVERB IS OFF ON THE PR-40 IS
WHEN THE SLIGHT HUM AT THE 12 INCH REVERB SPEAKER HAPPENS JUST TO CLEARIFY
THE PROBLEM.

THE LESLIE IS WORKING GREAT.I MADE MY OWN Y SPLITTER AT THE BACK OF THE
ORGAN.I'LL FIGURE IT OUT EVENTUALLY.

Yoi must understand the "Leslie-proofing" that Hammond did to the PR-40 in
order to get yor reverb back.......study the schematic or call me at
707-274-8979...........or perhaps someone who can type better than me will
give on-line help.

Both pins aone *and* six are both "positive" or "hot"; pin two is ground.

G1 and G2 stand for Grid one and Grid 2, and always did on Hammond
Schematics......in this case the two grids on V1, a 12AU7.

I wish you much luck.

PR-40.A week ago i had the swirling bad capapcitor sound and so i changed
Caps 33,34.35 which are all 3 uF,50V..That got rid of the bad cap
sound.Only 2 caps that haven't been changed yet are by the transistor caps
#30, and #32 which are 100 uF/3V ..

speaker only and when Treble reverb is turned off.As soon as i turn ON
Treble Reverb everything is absolutely perfect 100% No hum,Not even any
hiss at all it's unbelievable how quiet.

pin female connector box which mounts in the back of the organ and i
noticed that Pin#1 is +positive signal.

positive signal would goto to pin 6 on the leslie.

it says "SUPPLIES DIRECT SIGNAL WHEN TREBLE REVERB IS OFF" and points to
connection G1 which might not be my +positive signal wire and mine might be
G2.I'll have to look later and inspect but something i think is possible
and i should remember to check.

100uF/3V caps that havent been change even though the caps i got are
sprauge metal axial with a date of like 1992 on believe on them so i;m
slightly hessitant to do it unless needed.

> Those last caps i just changed were a real bitch with 3 heatsinks
needed at one time was really tough and i hope i didn't overheat any of
those 3 --caps 33,34,35.Also the leads on the caps were really thin so it
was tough to get them in the solder pots without bending quite a bit.
