[HAM] Any hints for fixing a squeaky expression pedal?

I'm a long-time reader and here comes my first question for the learned
members of this list. I can't find anything on this in the archives or
elsewhere-My expression pedal squeaks whenever I move it. I've tried
tightening screws, loosening screws, and a tiny bit of lubricant, but no
matter what I get a very annoying squek. Any advice will be greatly
appreciated!
