[HAM] Any hints for fixing a squeaky expression pedal?

Check the expression pedal rod where it runs through the hole at the bottom
plywood generator shelf on it's way to the preamp connection arm.  It can
get displaced due to a bent part or a loose screw or pressed fitting and
will will rub against the side of the hole and squeek every time the pedal
is moved.
