[HAM] Beastie Boys Instrumental Album (The in sound from way out...)Daniel Ramirez dramirez at rettew.comMon Aug 28 14:27:04 CDT 2006
The keyboardist/producer's name is Money Mark. He also has a solo album titled "Push the Button" that is fantastic. From what I recall, TISFWO has some bona fide B3 and Wurlitzer on it, but Money Mark usually uses what must be an entire warehouse of oddball instruments and synths. >>> wheelhead54 at gmx.de 08/28/06 3:15 PM >>> When I heard this album some ten years ago for the first time I _loved_ the music at first go. I did not expect them to play such a style facing the more punk and hip hop/rap kind of music they played in the past. Here's a link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000002TXM/sr=8-1/qid=1156792644/ref=pd_bbs_1/102-7503120-5968963?ie=UTF8 I wondered if anyone on this list could please bring light into the equipment (is it processed B-3 or a clone?; what about the D-6 and the cooking Wurlisound)? Also I wondered if it is a collage of loops or 100% "handmade" or perhaps a mixture of both... Thank you in advance for any comments.
