[HAM] Adding 2-speed motor to a Leslie 45

I added a 2-speed motor to my 44W, which is a similar cabinet. I only  
added it to the top rotor and have never regretted it. The bottom  
rotor slowly winds down. No one has ever noticed that it didn't have  
a slow speed motor. As I recall, I had to put the upper rotor motor  
in upside down to make it work correctly. It was fairly obvious and  
not a big deal. If you need more info I can go out and look. Less  
obvious is making a 2-speed relay. I use solid state relays powered  
by a little wall wart power supply. Very quiet and easy.
