There is really no fixed value of a Novachord. I got one for free and another for $300, neither of which worked completley. If a Novachord were completley working today, it would have had to have been restored, which is an expensive process. If it works and no work has been done to it, it is a pure fluke of nature and will need restoring anyway--at the very least the PCB filled caps will need to be removed for safety. I would estimate the cost of parts to be over $2000, plus the hundreds of hours that goes into the restoration. It's a very tedious job and I would not be one to part with a fully working Novachord. I have never seen a fully working one for sale, but the last one on ebay brought $2000, which seemed like a lot to me. I have seen them not sell on ebay before, and I have had the opportunity to get a few free ones that I passed on. Value, really, is in the eye of the beholder.
