[HAM] (OT) Wurlitzer 200a EP fuse questionsDrew Hoelscher dahoelscher at charter.netSun Jul 23 05:23:35 CDT 2006
1) You can replace the pigtailed fuse with a non-pigtailed fuse by using a fuse block or an in-line fuse holder. 2) Do not jump the fuse with a wire. That would be dangerous to your Wurly (and possible to you). 3) The fuse is there for a reason -- replace it! It saved your Wurly! Do not change its value (250V / 1/2 AMP). 4) Fix the bare wire. A bare wire which blows the fuse by touching the hum guard is a dangerous situation. - Drew Eric Pratt wrote: >If anyone has a group link they could hook me up with >(so as not to speak of things non-Hammond), that'd be >awesome, OR my questions are... > >I blew the buss fuse on my Wurly at a gig last night; >a bare wire touched the newly replaced hum guard.
