[HAM] taper on all but M'c and early A,s

There has been discussion recently on this subject.  It was said what to do to M series amps to get benefit of no taper on M's.  Would someone be so kind to repeat that circuit change.  Also: Is the taper on the B's & C's done by distance of magnets to wheels or by resistance in the circuit. Thanks for setting me straight.
