[HAM] Leslie control by footswitch

I've been having the same thoughts, all I have currently are halfmoons.
For fast walking or "motor rhythm" bass lines it can be difficult to get
the left hand to the switch and cover it up with a foot. It does force a
certain amount of planning of when to switch (AND when to switch back!)

On the other hand there's the idea that if you're good enough you SHOULD
be able to do exactly that - flawlessly. (Which is the thinking that led
to just the halfmoons in my setups).

And done right that approach certainly is impressive and looks great (as
long as you're swiping and not swatting or flailing). Kinda like driving
a stick shift competently.

I don't know, does this become more an acrobatic exercise than a musical
exercise? I'm seriously considering adding a momentary switch to the
setup. In my case it would be pretty simple, one is a 760 setup, the
other is a 147 setup with relays for 760. In either case a DPDT in line
with the switch that would reverse the wires going to the Leslie switch
poles when depressed would do the trick. Would this approach work for a
122 connection as well?

I would think that anyone who plays left hand bass would really love to
have one to keep their hand on the keyboard and not have to be swatting
at the leslie switch between bass notes.
