As I understand it, Rolie never used a chop by anybody. He liked pretty much stock B's and Leslies, knows how to play them and those are what are produced his trademark sound. Heresay is that on Samba Pa Ti that great Hammond sound was a BC but I can't remember where I heard that. It wasn't from Greg though so don't put too much stock in that statement.
