Wait a minute Bill. Is your 60Hz hum you hear when your generator is running? That's A/C. I figured everything was turned off. Ed Bill Odum <bilyod2002 at yahoo.com> wrote: Run hammonds on generator. I have a very mysterious electronic happening on my phone. I have a place that is about 1000 feet from power line. I have solar power. No AC. On some phones I get a 60 hz hum. That is with no inverter on. Absolutely no AC. Could hum be picked up from power line 1000 feet away? Well, I'm definitely *not* a genius, but: I've been with people on dark nights under high tension power lines where if you hold up a fluorescent light bulb, it will glow. Its entirely possible that you are receiving radiation from these power lines. BTW: How do you run a Hammond then? :) -andy -- Subscription Options/Unsubscribe/Archives: http://www.zeni.net/hf/ Hammond-Leslie FAQ: http://theatreorgans.com/hammond/faq/ HammondWiki: http://www.dairiki.org/HammondWiki/ hammond at zk3.dec.com archives: http://zk3.hammondforum.com/ --------------------------------- Sponsored Link Mortgage rates near historic lows - Refi $200k loan for only $660/ month - Click now for info -- Subscription Options/Unsubscribe/Archives: http://www.zeni.net/hf/ Hammond-Leslie FAQ: http://theatreorgans.com/hammond/faq/ HammondWiki: http://www.dairiki.org/HammondWiki/ hammond at zk3.dec.com archives: http://zk3.hammondforum.com/
