Bob,

Question on Rolie.  Was he using a Beer High Power Leslie - or stock 122
with the chop?  The only BB chop I have heard thru a stock 122 is  John
Novello with Niacin - and that is a recording - not hearing in person.  But
I assume the BB chop would sound and distort - basically like a good
sounding stock B3 with a stock 122. (Rather than that characteristic smooth
- bell ringing highs that the JBL BB High Power produces - which some like
and some hate.)

 

Thanks for taking the time to answer.  Everytime I sit at my EIS chop -
knowing I have the schematics you furnish - makes me very glad I bought
yours rather than Bill's.  (I do love the high power Leslies - and so far,
nothing has ever gone wrong - where's wood to knock on!!!)
