I'm not suggesting that your organ didn't sound like dog shit, nor many 
others.  I was just trying to point out that your dismissal of 
quantifiable evidence because the sample size was inadequate was, perhaps, 
inconsistent.

BTW, I'm not arguing for or against recapping.  I think that there's 
probably a certain amount of hammo-mojo that is destroyed by recapping. 
But I've also heard plenty of recapped organs that sounded great, as I 
suspect that you have also.  But the right attitude is critical for 
musical expression, and an organ that you hate to play is going to sound 
much worse than one that you love to play, no matter what the organ sounds 
like.
