And, if you're worried about your organ sounding too bright, simply err 
consistently on the high side with capacitor values for that "aged to 
perfection" sound. Use .120uF capacitors or higher. Maybe .150uF or 
.180uF.

  About 98% of the organ that have come through my place have had the tone control maxed to treble. Is that because people want more bass???? If the organ it too bright after recapping, set the tone control back to half, three quarters and enjoy. If you feel the need in the future to brighten it up as you music style might chance, guess what, you will at least have somewhere to go with it. I always wondered why everybody uses that beat to death "too bright" phrase when expressing recap opinions, and then has their tone contol maxed out to treble on the organs that aren't recapped.
