Yes.  The problem is in the conversion of email from HTML to plain text 
and back again.  In the attempt to make email "web friendly", certain 
interfaces (like yahoo's) don't put in carriage returns so that text will 
flow into the size screen that is being used to view the email.  This 
mailing list is served and archived using a program called "Mailman" and 
Mailman's archiving software simply places all message bodies in a 
preformatted area, (<pre> tags) which means that the text is displayed 
exactly as written.

This is a common and annoying, ah, "feature".  The Mailman writers feel 
that the behavior is correct and a plain text email should contain line 
breaks.

So, you could hit enter at the end of your lines, or wait until it annoys 
someone else enough to come up with a better solution.
