Hi Don.
Thank you for explaining about the problem with my posts.

For starters, there's a 40K limit on posts

I just checked the ''Sent items' section in my Microsoft Outlook and
the original large post from Wednesday and then my second attempt from
yesterday are still there because I have not yet deleted them and they
are shown as being around 30 K bytes

The "truncated" post was actually sent to the list, but was not properly

posted to the archives

I read the Hammond zeni posts online through the 'Archives by date'
method instead of receiving the posts as an email sent to me in the
digest mode. My recent posts seemed to have been truncated when I tried
to read them online however Scott Hawthorn wrote to assure me that all
my posts did come through the server and that I need to check my local
settings.
I have also noticed that some other people's posts occasionally seem to
be truncated for example some posts have the heading title but no
new text or there might just be the reprinted section of someone
else's previous post in italics but there is no new text visible from
the person who just replied to the previous post.

. This is because Kon's text started with the text string ">From "
which is precisely
the text string that the archiving software looks for as a delimiter
between different
posts ( the mbox unix format .

Thank you for mentioning this. I was not at all aware that the word
''From'' would activate the software delimiter.
All the best.
Kon
