[HAM] Hendrix and the Hammond

Forgive me if you already knew all this but I was watching a Jimi Hendirx
documentary "Classic Albums : Electric Ladyland" and learned that Hendrix
always wanted to start a band with Winwood, but never had the nerve to ask
him!  Then there was a great bit with Mike Finnegan in which he demo'd some
of the licks he played in "Rainy Day...".  Very interesting indeed!  I
remember there was talk (not in this program) of an Emerson/Hendrix
collaboration at some point also.

When I thought about it, Henrix appears to be quite fond of the Hammond
sound.
