Guys,

Just talked with Bob Schleicher Friday. (I own one of his cutdown B3's and
I was going to purchase a couple of JBL drivers out of some Bill Beer High
Power Leslies he had surplus.) He told me Santana beat me to them recently
along with one of his cutdown B3's for Chester Thompson. Bob also told me
they are now using Crown 1000 watt amps to drive their Leslies in concerts -
and were blowing even very high power speakers regularly. (I'm assuming
their Bill Beer cutdowns have finally become un-road-worthy with age and
wear.)

Bob told me to go to www.keyboardmag.tv <http://www.keyboardmag.tv/> - then
to hotpicks - and there are several (free) video clips of Chester Thompson
playing the Bob Schleicher cutdown B3 organ. This cutdown has full pedals
and is shown in several clips. There is a platform built on the pedal
keyboard housing for the volume and control pedals of the other keyboards
Chester stacks on the B3 at times. Chester is teaching several riffs from
famous solos - like "Squib Cakes."

There are also several clips of Chester playing the new XK3 system.

Enjoy,

Mark
