[HAM] CT's instrument setupToussaint saint49 at bellsouth.netWed Oct 4 15:06:48 CDT 2006
looks like tone controls. Any ideas what they might be? i noticed the left end of the console, ....ther are guys here who may can identify everything there, ... I can't really, but it looks like a trek percussion and uhh.. Well i met him about 3 yrs ago here in Miami> in a practice session w/santan and band, he spent his whole break answering my questions about his rig,(which wasn't there) and his set-up, he said he had the trek for years, and that his organ was rigged in the TOP days by some Italian techs...., I remember him saying also that in concert he uses either one or 2 leslies, and 6 jbl cabinets with 4 speakers in each, (think they were 12"speaks) plus he also useds a leslie similator. ( i guess for the JBL cabs) since the TOP days. Thats all i remember now, sorry, there were more innovations, but.....i forgot the rest for now. He seemed a really nice guy to chat with,.. and he does enjoy talkin about his rig when asked. > tracking down Sonny Burke!? Anybody tracked him down yet??
