[HAM] refinish B-3

Hi, 
I was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction concerning the refinishing of B-3 and Leslie 145 cab.

Finish is rough, some veneer has peeled. I have a tech who is experienced in re-veneering wood furniture. 
Any ideas or tips on protecting manuals and electronics of B-3?
