What you'll need is a dummy load. I'd use a 25 to 50 watt resistor. I  
don't know if it's 8 ohms or 16 ohms, but someone here will know. Be  
sure it's not somewhere where it can start a fire, because it might  
get a little hot. When you plug the headphones in it should send the  
output signal to the dummy load which would have the headphone jack  
in parallel. I'm guessing a 100 ohm resistor in series with the  
headphones would be enough to drop the volume to headphone level.  
That's a guess. Maybe 1000 ohm.
