I did email the seller, and received a reply that this is a Hammond BV, 
serial no. 20753.  It was working when decommissioned, is on the ground 
floor with ramps to the parking lot, and is in Rosemead, 10 miles east of 
LA.  Its gone now for $300.  Somebody got a terrific deal-- I hope it was a 
list member.
