[HAM] BC tremulant oil threads (again)Richard Horton rhorton at pennswoods.netThu Oct 12 15:09:34 CDT 2006
I just looked inside my D (sn 1260), and it appears that there is a small silver tube which is connected directly up from the tremulant coupling box into and fastened to the leftward floor of the cup. I looked in with a light and angle mirror, so I could see it well. There is the expected thread going out rightward thru the horizontal tube and down to the motor shaft bushing. It looks original and undisturbed. However, there is no thread going into the rear (tremulant) vertical tube, looks like the oil just runs down into it by gravity. Hope this helps. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Hugh" <brooo at shaw.ca> Subject: Re: [HAM] BC tremulant oil threads (again) > Thanks for the kind offer. It's deep in the bowels of the beast.
