[HAM] L100 TUBES

My Opinion,
Tubes are not much of a problem with Hammonds. Hammond didn't bias their
tubes very hot so they last a long time. My M111a still has all of the
origional tubes in it. I have had a couple of problems though. The grid
bias resistors on both of the preamp tubes (6AU6s) went bad at different
times. I worked with another guy who had the same problem. The moral of the
story is; don't just replace all the tubes 'cause it's old. Measure
voltages and fix the problem. It will save you a lot of money.

wink
