[HAM] leslie 760 hot! help!

Hi! 
I just bought a nice Leslie 760 and I played it one day. After a few hours of playing, the lower slow motor quit running. I thought, maybe it had some thermical protection inside, but after 1/2 an hour of cooling, still not working.. 
I've tried to touch motor, and they were really hot! (low speed (the smaller ones)). 
Is that normal? 
what could be my problem?
