Emergency! by the Tony Williams Lifetime would certainly make the
snoozers sit up and take notice, whilst simultaneously demonstrating
what a broad church 'jazz' (and the role of the Hammond therein) can
be...!

And also on a Larry Young theme, 'Unity' is a classic jazz album with a
very distinctive and individual organ style (no pedals evident, but very
interesting to contrast this with the blues-based stylings of many/most
of Young's contemporaries at that time?).
