[HAM] Chorus/Vibrato Switch and Scanner Problems

This is a 1975 A-105. The C/V switch assembly is held together by four
clips rather than numerous screws as in older organs.

1) The C/V switch is very hard to operate. I have cleaned the hardened
gunk off the switch gears and, although rotation is easier, it is still too
difficult to operate with the knob. Should these gears be lubed with
something? If so, with what? Are there other parts of the switch mechanism
that might also have hardened gunk? Should the cams or some other parts be
lubed? It so, with what?

2) Someone attempted C/V switch service in the past and did not
replace the screw that holds the switch assembly to the underside of the
drawbar base. What are the specs for this screw in terms of threads per
inch, diameter and length?

3) The C/V knob interior is pretty chewed up. Are there any ways to
salvage this knob?

4) I am doing a complete scanner rebuild because the rotor was not
turning. Yes, there was oily gunk around the Rotor Bearing. I am currently
soaking all the parts, including the half of the case that contains the
Rotor Bearing, in solvent. I understand that when reassembling, a small
drop of Hammond oil on the Rotor Bearing at the shaft will be needed. Are
there any other steps to "servicing the Rotor Bearing?"

Thanks in advance,

//Cliff
