[HAM] C3 Volume SwitchJP jamespwhite at charter.netTue Sep 5 20:46:46 CDT 2006
I used Brad's troubleshooting process my C3 Volume switch as listed below: The volume tab is connected to the E and F preamp connections. Disconnect these from the preamp and you should have soft volume. That's what happened - I got soft volume. Shorting across (the now disconnected) E and F should give normal volume. Yep, normal volume. I still suspect something is wrong with the pre amp because of the very low level of "Low Volume". In the Normal volume position, with the expression pedal all the way up (quiet), lets say volume is at 1 on a scale from 1-10. In the Soft volume position and the expression pedal all the way depressed (loud), the volume is less than 1, say about 0.7. Any thoughts or recommendations are welcome. Thanks again for the help! JP
