[HAM] LH bassMichael Fulk strangewarrior1 at earthlink.netFri Sep 8 04:06:25 CDT 2006
Pish-posh; I have done this for many people. It is easy, tho it may take a while. First one must answer the existential quention: "Do I want a set of separate contacts under the 12 lowest notes of the manual(s)..............or do I want the wiring to be an integral part of the original manuals?" After that, it is a matter of an afternoon's job. M. Fulk P.S. Lowest notes must be filtered on some B-2 models and all models after that....that also have complex tone wheels on the bottom octave. Otherwise bass notes sound like farts. > [Original Message] > From: joe doria <joedoria at hotmail.com> > To: <hammond at zeni.net> > Date: 9/3/2006 3:31:44 PM > Subject: Re: [HAM] LH bass > > might be a bit off the subj...but are there any portland techs/players out > there that might know? > > I could have sworn the last time I played the hammond b-3 at Jimmy Mak's (in > Portland) it sounded as if the pedal tones were wired to the lower manual. > > > > >From: Bruce Murphy <nerf at rogers.com> > >Reply-To: The Hammond Forum <hammond at zeni.net> > >To: The Hammond Forum <hammond at zeni.net> > >Subject: Re: [HAM] LH bass > >Date: Thu, 31 Aug 2006 19:43:31 -0400 (EDT) > > > >Guess I'll wire those to something useful, like 2 lava lamps.... > > > > Actually, maybe there is something I can do with those drawbars?
