Did you try moving it? Spraying it with pot/tuner cleaner and turning it 
some more?

Not really. The original organ signal is so faint it needs much more 
amplification than what goes into the RCA jack. That's why the jack is 
placed at a later point in the circuit; it doesn't need all those 
"preamplified" stages.

As for the matching transformer, when I once had a faint/no-sound situation 
that stemmed from there, I found it by taking the cover off and physically 
wiggling the wires inside, with a note held down. The tone came back 
intermittently when I wiggled the right wire. I'm not saying this is your 
problem-- there's an awful lot to check and it can't really be done over 
the internet.
