I haven't written much to the list except to ask questions on how to
maintain my wife's M3.  But...  yall folks should check out the

The guy behind it posts really cool tunes from old 7" funk/soul records
and has a real soft spot for Hammond oriented tunes.  The taste of the
blog writer is pretty much impeccable.  He has pretty good info on the
tune makers and he occasionally posts full Length theme based
compilations.   His most recent comp was called Funky16Corners Radio v.12
- Hammond Funk #1, which he describes as:

"This time out, the emphasis is on funky Hammond sides, and as this is a
favorite sub-sub-genre of mine, I can assure that the file you are about
to download and stuff into your ears, brings (as the kids say) “the heat”.
I can also assure you (an awful lot of assurance for so early in the
week
) is that there will be more of the same coming in the future (hence
the “#1”) as I have a surplus of such records in storage at the
Funky16Corners complex (deep in a Nevada salt mine)."
