[HAM] Van Morrison.........Healing Game

[Vintage Hammond Hire (Scotland)]

Hi Tony

Georgie Fame played organ on this whole album...I do his work up in Scotland
when he comes up here.

Clive (Georgie Fame) does not play pedals...and I have spoken to him a few
times about that album.

I actually worked out his Gospel intro for the track the Healing
Game...changed the turnaround slightly to use it as an intro to Ray
Charles's "Hard Times" Clive once told me that he wanted to play "Abide with
Me" as the intro to this track...but Morrison wouldn't let him...

Alec Dankworth (son of Cleo Laine & John Dankworth) now plays bass in
Georgie Fame's band...the Blues Flames.  He was one of the bass players on
that album. Alec is a lovely guy..AMAZING upright bass player!

I have actually worked with everyone on that album through B3 rentals
through either Van Morrison, Georgie Fame, Brian Kennedy or Pee Wee Ellis.

Its a small world....but even so...I don't want to vacuum clean it!
