The below seems a *bit* rough.

I know Ted Thompson only from the telephone, and from Hamtech.....people
like him are one of the few reasons I miss it.

But I always thought that he was a sterling fellow, thoroughly well-versed
in things Hammond [definitely *my* superior] and completely honest.
