Well put Magnus, I agree wholeheartedly. Even worse, to turn it on you must 
instantly find the correct volume level with the slider. I think it's a 
great product; I used one on my old BC for quite a long time, but if there 
was a Hammond-alternative, I would go for that in an instant.
