[HAM] Single louver horn compartment damping material?

Kon,

The material does have a slight difference in tonal response and volume.
When Bill Beer modified my 122's - he purposely took all of the damping
material out of the Leslie to increase volume and resonance to the max.
"Get all that stuff out of there - you really want the sound to barrel out
of there."  Was his answer when I asked him about it.

My 760's had a felt / acoustic material on the back cover of the upper rotor
(which I removed for the sound reason).

So it depends on the sound you want to produce.
