They are the same,multi contact. Your problem is dendritite or hair growth
inside the manuals. Put a percussion voice on and reiterate on. Go key by
key up the manual. The keys that do not retiterate are the ones with the
hairs.

I have an X-77 Gt. There is a problem with the percussion. I can get all
the voices with second voice. With second voice off  you can  flip a
percussion tab you get one ping then nothing indicating a short at the B
preset. Is there and easy way to get access to the pre-set buss for
cleaning?? i.e. lifting the upper manual or is it as complicated as it
appears, removing the whole top assembly with the electronics and
drawbars??
Are the manual contacts the same as my D or are they the printed circuit
board type used later on?
