[HAM] Free Hammond console in Santa Cruz, CA

Is anyone here interested in a free Hammond console? I forget what
model it is but it's a church cabinet and I'm pretty sure it's the
model that came out just before the CV, in the mid-40s. Could that be
an AB? It has the chorus generator. It was in a church for years and
then I gave it to my friend Mark, in Santa Cruz. I had to "make" a
Leslie for it in an afternoon, using a Leslie 10B rotor, some old
piece of furniture I got at the Flea and a tube amp from an
unidentified organ to supply B+ to the Hammond and power the
"Leslie". It all worked for several years but recently stopped. I
suspect, with good reason, my half-baked Leslie. I don't live there,
and just visit from time to time, so I'm sorry I don't have more
details. I can tell you that I loved the way this organ sounded and
played and I really liked the chorus. Anyway, Mark wants to get rid
of it now, for free. I think this is a heck of an organ for free, if
you live in the area. Write me at kcary at dcn.org.

Thanks,
Keith CV/44W
