And how could I have forgotten to name the tune? It's from the Johnny 
"Hammond" Smith album "The
Stinger" (Prestige), released in 1965. The title is "Benny's
Diggin'." This same album contains his brilliant version of "You Don't Know
What Love Is," which I have also posted here before, or if you're old, 
heretofore.

'em out.
