I always put shoes on to play organ pedals!

My toes aren't tough enough to handle a bump onto a sharp and just don't 
stand the wear and tear.

I get a lot better heel and toe gliss type things with shoes.

Now if only all those notes were at the right timing and held the right 
length of time!
