[HAM] 21H Leslie

I got a matched quad of the new Russian reissue of the Tung Sol 5881
for my Leslie 32H.

New Sensor did a very good job of copying the Tung Sol originals with
this one. All 32H amps I've seen with original tubes had Tung Sols.

Distortion could be caused by a lot of factors including a weak 6SN7.

ALL old paper capacitors in an amp this old SHOULD BE REPLACED!!!

I've had good luck doing total rebuilds on 21H and 32H amps. A few
improvements in the wiring, especially the ground wiring, can make
them quieter at idle, which is not to say it's really a problem
stock. Tying all your wiring in little bundles looks neat, but isn't
the best for preventing the signal wires from picking up heater
filament supply hum.... I also like using a 4-section power supply
capacitor and filtering the output tube screen/field coil supply with
the extra 30uF section.

Also, check the condition of the all contacts/plugs/sockets between
the amp and the speakers. I found corrosion on the treble driver
crossover socket of one 21H bad enough to put a few ohms of
resistance in series with the horn.
