[HAM] excessive hum?

Happy Holidays to all!
	My '59 B3 has developed a noise on the C,C#,D,D#,E notes (2nd octave  
from the top)
  on both manuals when the 16' drawbar is out. The noise is "humlike"  
but seems to have a
"whirring" element. I think the noise is in the tonewheels. Has this  
happened to anyone?
Any ideas?
