[HAM] Smooth Drawbars and Percussion.

Hello to everyone and Happy Holidays/Merry Christmas,

I posted sometime ago a question about the efforts it would take to make a CV become a C-3.  I was happy to receive quite a bit of feedback on the subject.  However, my efforts fell through and the acquisition never happened.  But I'm happy to say things turned out for the better.

I recently acquired my first Hammond Console (pretty exciting), a 1950 (I believe) C-2.  It has ratcheting drawbars (which I would like to become smooth at some point) and it obviously lacks percussion (which I would like as well).  I know I can add trek percussion, but I'm interested in trying to achieve this using other means (buying an AO-28 perhaps) if possible.  If the task is too difficult than I would be willing to settle with the trek unit.

What I'm asking is how difficult is it to do a smooth drawbar conversion and add percussion.  Any help (or any extra information) is much appreciated.
