Scott,

I agree. Like I said, I ran the calculations on it once, but I never  
got sufficiently interested in it to try it.

Usually, a DC heater supply needs to be designed as such from the get- 
go.

On a different note, I do think it is possible to improve the overall  
grounding schemes in both organs and Leslies. There have been some  
advancements in grounding/shielding know-how over the last 50 years.  
Of course, as you say, we're talking about small gains that appeal to  
us Hi-Fi nuts whose heads would explode if we didn't have something  
towards which to direct our obsessive-compulsive energies.

Luckily for me, I just got all my parts to build my new tube line- 
stage preamp. OCD heaven.
